Residents of Kauka-Silale village in Nyahururu Laikipia County took to the streets to protest the death of a 54-year-old man reported to have been trampled to death by an elephant. The irate residents are demanding the government completes the process of erecting an electric fence around the South Marmanet forest. The jumbo is said to have strayed from the forest and attacked the man leading to his death.
