Division within ODM as leaders take different stances on supporting the Ruto-led administration

There appears to be division within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as leaders take different stances on supporting the Ruto-led administration and addressing the perennial issue of abductions. Speaking at the burial of Roseline Odede in Siaya County, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna called on party members to avoid becoming sycophants of the Ruto-led administration. sifuna affirmed that he would maintain the party's identity and would not be intimidated into silence. Raila Odinga has also reiterated his commitment to highlighting the government's shortcomings, even as he eyes the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.
