The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission selection panel is now fully constituted after the swearing-in of two of the remaining members . Caroline Kituku who represents the Law Society of Kenya and Fatuma Saman representing the Inter-religious council took oath of office Friday morning in an event witnessed by Chief Justice Martha Koome. Koome reiterated the call for members of the panel to identify individuals with integrity to build trust in the Kenyan electoral system ahead of the 2027 general election. The panel is currently holding its first meeting
