Deputy Chief of Staff, Performance and Delivery Management Eliud Owalo says the government is leveraging the Rural Electrical and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) to transform lives in Kenya’s rural areas. At a performance evaluation exercise at the REREC’s headquarters in Nairobi, Owalo said the Rural electrification is a force multiplier in the creation of jobs at the grassroots, in effect, stemming the tide of rural to urban migration.
