Kulingana na mtaalamu wa uchunguzi wa maiti wa serikali Dkt. Waithira Mbau, hakukuwepo na dalili za kuashiria kuwa alinyongwa shingoni wala kuzama majini. Uchunguzi huo ulibaini kwamba msichana huyo mchanga tayari alikuwa amefariki alipotupwa kwenye kidimbwi hicho cha maji.
