Rights groups demand urgent medical care for abducted Kenyan activists missing in Uganda

    Law society of Kenya, amnesty international and vocal Africa are tonight demanding immediate medical attention for activists Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo who were abducted in Kampala, Uganda, and whose whereabouts have remained unknown for close to a month now. The organisations, claim that the health of the two activists is deteriorating as a result of torture while in detention. The push to have the two released by their abductors comes even as un special rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders Mary Lawlor raised complaint after Kenyan authorities failed to provide answers on human rights violations during the June 2025 protests
