Police arrest armed suspect after Kisumu shootout, recover firearm used in robberies

Police in Kisumu have arrested one suspect and recovered one firearm suspected to have been used in a wave of robberies across the city. 21 year old Kevin Oduor opened fire at a police officer on patrol, leading to the shoot out which led to his eventual arrest. Police are pursuing two other suspects who were in the company of the assailant
