A section of Njuri Ncheke Meru Council of elders have criticized a meeting reportedly held by a group of Meru county politicians barely hours after meeting Deputy President Kithure Kindiki at his Karen residence for a county development meeting. Led by Njuri Ncheke chairman Adriano Yaroyaro, the elders who spoke at Njuri Ncheke shrine in, Tigania, Meru County said the night meeting was uncalled for. According to the elders the meeting may distract all development projects which were discussed during the development meeting.
