Four former senior Nyamira County officials are being held at the Kisii Central Police station after they were arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission officials over allegations of abuse of office in the Department of Gender, Youth, Culture, and Social Services. This as the ant-graft body forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions 51 files for action following the completion of its investigations that spanned between 1st October 2024 to 31st December 2024.
