Five suspects in the murder of activist and human rights defender Richard Otieno, alias Molo President, will remain in custody at Nakuru GK prison as they await a mental assessment at Nakuru Level 5 hospital. The evaluation, which will be conducted within seven days, will determine their fitness to stand trial before they take a plea on murder charges. Four other suspects have been released after police failed to find sufficient evidence linking them to the crime.
