Over 6,000 schools blacklisted amid KSh 3.2bn capitation shortfall ahead of KCSE exams

    Over 6000 schools have been blacklisted from receiving capitation funds for failing to meet standard threshold. Additional 29 Schools have not been listed to receive the funds for failing to meet licensing requirements. While appearing before Education Committee, Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogambo said the ministry is urgently requires 3.2 billion shillings to conduct the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations, set to begin next week
