Several people were injured after supporters of Migori Governor Ochillo Ayacko and Uriri MP Mark Nyamita clashed at Migori stadium after the match between Migori Youth and Mofa. Chaos erupted immediately when Nyamita stood up to meet the players as the patron of Migori Youth Football club after governor Ochillo Ayacko had finished addressing the players. Police were forced to use teargas canisters to quell the chaos. The two leaders called for political tolerance saying it's not yet time for political campaigns.
