MSF inasema watu huko wanakabiliwa na mashambulizi ya vurugu, kulazimishwa kukimbia nyumba zao, na kuhangaika kupata huduma za matibabu. Katika ripoti hiyo mpya, MSF inasema maisha yanazidi kuwa hatari zaidi kwa jamii zilizoko kwenye mzozo huko mashariki mwa DRC, ambapo Umoja wa Mataifa unasema mapigano hayo yamewafanya zaidi ya watu laki moja kukosa makazi. Tangu mwanzo wa mwaka huu, zaidi ya watu 200 wameuawa katika mashambulizi, na wengine wengi kujeruhiwa. MSF inasema madaktari wao wamewatibu manusura wa mashambulizi ya mapanga na risasi, wakiwemo watoto na wanawake wajawazito.
