Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu will remain in prison until 23rd April as he awaits the High Court to consider his second attempt to be released on bond as he pursues an appeal against his 12 year sentence. His 1st attempt hit a snag on 3rd March after Justice Lucy Njuguna dismissed his application pending the hearing and determination of an appeal he has lodged.
