Gathoni Wamuchomba Claims Threat to Life After Fake Police Summons

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba now says her life is in danger after what she describes as a suspicious and unofficial attempt to summon her. According to the MP, she received a phone call on Saturday from an individual claiming to have been directed by the Kiambu CCIO to summon her. However, when she went to Kiambu Police Headquarters on Monday to honour the summons, it was revealed that the person who contacted her was not affiliated with the station. Investigative agencies in Kiambu have since distanced themselves from the incident, raising concerns over the MP’s safety.
