Those arrested are Nicholas Wambugu, Brian Adagala, Mark Karubiu, and Christopher Wamae.
Their equipment and hard drives were seized during the operation.
KFPTA condemns the arrests as an attack on press freedom.
Filmmakers were released on free bond, but without their devices.
