Former interior cabinet secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i has declared his ambition to run for presidency in the 2027 general elections. Addressing a crowd that turned at Gusii stadium to witness his declaration Matiang’i urged Kenyans to register themselves as voters ahead of the elections and choose wisely if they are to fix the myriad of challenges facing the country. He joins former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka and Kitui politician Jeff Kaluyu, who have also declared interest in the country`s top office.
