Tea farmers from Murang'a county are set to reap higher profits from their produce, after the county government unveiled a partnership to brand tea from the county with geographical indications. Speaking after a tour of tea factories on Monday, France ambassador to Kenya Arnaud Suquet said the partnership will triple the proceeds of tea farmers from the county.
