The nationwide public participation exercise that kicked off today on the proposed Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill 2025 ,a bill that seeks to enshrine key development funds including the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NGCDF), into the Constitution was met with mixed reactions. From Ruiru to Busia, Nairobi to Kakamega, the debate has drawn varied reactions across the 47 counties as citizens turn up in numbers for the four-day consultation exercise set to run until Thursday, May 8th.
