The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation fraternity on Friday bid farewell to veteran journalist Kennedy Epalat, who has proceeded on retirement. Epalat, who has worked for KBC since 1994, has been described as a diligent employee who always upheld professional standards. During the farewell ceremony, various professionals with experience were urged to use their positions to uplift others, and guide them to climb the career ladder. Until his retirement, Epalat served in various capacities, having started as a presenter at the KBC Teso Service. In 2003, he moved to KBC headquarters in Nairobi where he focused on current affairs. He also had a stint at Parliament, where he did live commentaries.
