Widows across the country have been urged to join women-led groups to unlock access to critical investment and empowerment opportunities. This was the clarion call during an empowerment event in Marsabit bringing together about 3000 women.The President’s Advisor on Women’s Rights, Harriette Chiggai, officiating the event, emphasized the need for concerted efforts between government and grassroots organizations to support widows with finances.
