KABOGO URGES RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL MEDIA USE, DISMISSES MEDIA SHUTDOWN CLAIMS

ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has called on Kenyans to use social media responsibly, citing growing misuse of digital platforms. Speaking at the 2025 Annual Media Summit, he encouraged constructive media criticism of the government and assured that, despite having the capacity, the government has no intention of shutting down media.
