Tayari washukiwa 14 wamekamatwa kuhusiana na tukio hilo. Mwenyekiti wa tume ya EACC Dr David Oginde, amesema kwamba vijana waliozua vurugu walinuia kuharibu ushahidi kuhusiana na sakata ya ubadhirifu wa shilingi bilioni 1.4 inayomkabili gavana huyo na maafisa wengine wa serikali ya kaunti.
