A family in Nyamira County is appealing for help from police to help track down their 17 year old son who went missing 10 days ago while in school. Austine Chakua Nchogu, a form four student at Mwongori High School in Borabu was last seen in school on May 14th when he is reported to have had an altercation with the chemistry teacher before he excused himself to go to the washrooms. The family points an accusing finger at the school administration for failing to take quick action after he went missing and for failing to report he is absence to the police. The family which has reported the matter at matutu police station has called on anyone with information to reach out to the police or contact them directly. The school administration has remained tight lipped on the matter which has raised concerns about students safety.
