The number of suicide and mental health related cases among teachers in Kiambu county have been on the rise in the past two years. To create awareness of sound mental health, Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA) Kiambu County held a Charity Walk, with a call to teachers and all members of society to seek redress in the face of challenges. The initiative comes as the country joins the world to mark the mental health month.
