Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has declined the summon by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) over his recent remarks suggesting potential unrest in the next general election. Gachagua instead told the commission to first of all deal with President William Ruto’s allies who have claimed a possibility of tampering with the 2027 presidential vote results.
