    KNUT has demanded 60 percent salaries increment as well as a 30 percent increment on allowances. The teacher's body reveals that the current CBA will expire on 30th June this year and the teachers are expected to negotiate for new terms of service. Otieno confirmed that teachers will not accept anything less than 60 percent on the salaries and also 30 percent on allowances failure to that they will take industrial action. He says Teacher's Service commission should take their grievances serious to avert looming strike of their demands are not met as per CBA.
