With scientists warning of increased microplastics in the atmosphere, health facilities have been urged to consider adopting alternative methods of plastic disposal. This comes amidst the push to eradicate plastic pollution which is also degenerating in to a health concern. And as Laura Otieno reports, a hospital in Kisumu is slowly facing out the burning of plastics, and is considering repurposing plastics generated from medical waste to save the environment.
