The Jubilee Party has faulted the government’s decision to slash capitation funds, describing the move as disastrous and ill-advised.Speaking during a consultative meeting with grassroots leaders in Embu County to bolster the party’s support, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni warned that reduced education funding could force many students out of school.The party urged delegates to rally behind the party’s presidential candidate Matiang’I who reportedly stepped down from his World Bank role to focus fully on his presidential bid.
