The Kenya Revenue Authority has so far collected approximately 17.2 Billion shillings from the tax amnesty programme. The figure which is past the half mark target of 30 Billion according to KRA is expected to go up in the coming days as the deadline for the filing of returns and the amnesty programme quickly approaches. With 22 days left to the 30th of June deadline, eligible taxpayers have been urged to leverage on the multiple platforms availed by the tax man to file their 2024 tax returns.
