The professional golfers of Kenya (PGK) have launched the player development program that will be anchored by a new tournament, the Equator Tour. The launch is the first step in an ambitious plan to qualify a Kenyan professional golfer for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The plan is an initiative of the golf federation and the government of Kenya through the Ministry of Sports, together with a number of corporate partners.
