South African troops return home after 'stuck' in the DRC- BBC Africa
he first group of South African troops deployed to eastern DR Congo are due to arrive back home. The peacekeeping forces were deployed to the DRC tasked with protecting civilians and supporting the Congolese government. The M23 rebel group now control much of the surrounding areas where the South African troops are based.
