The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) has officially opened a new regional office in Garissa County. The move is aimed at improving access to justice and supporting the protection of rights for residents in northern Kenya. KNCHR Vice-Chair Dr. Raymond Nyeris said the opening is part of the commission’s broader strategy to bring services closer to the people. He hinted at further expansion into neighbouring counties like Mandera and Tana River.
