Former Chief justice David Maraga has called for the arrest and prosecution of Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, his Deputy Eliud lagat and DCI Director Mohammed Amin for lying under oath about the circumstances under which blogger Albert Ojwang was killed while in police custody. Maraga who at one time led a Police Reforms taskforce has also threatened to institute private prosecution, if the government does not take action against the three, who he says bear the overall responsibility.
