Kwa muda mrefu, wanawake wameonekana kuwa dhaifu kuliko wanaume, lakini tafiti za kisasa zinaonyesha kuwa wana uwezo wa kipekee katika nyanja mbalimbali.
Wanawake huonyesha umahiri mkubwa katika kazi nyingi kwa wakati mmoja, kukabiliana na mfadhaiko, kuwa na kinga imara ya mwili, kuishi muda mrefu zaidi, na kuwasiliana kwa ufanisi mkubwa. Uwezo huu ni wa kisayansi na wa kuenziwa, na jamii inapaswa kuutambua kama nguzo muhimu ya maendeleo.
