President William Ruto has announced major changes within the Kenya Defence Forces, promoting top officers and appointing new service commanders across the Army, Air Force, and Navy.
Among the key changes, Maj. Gen. David Kipkemboi Ketter has been promoted to Lt. General and named Commander of the Kenya Army, replacing Lt. Gen. David Tarus, who takes over as Vice Chancellor of the National Defence University–Kenya.
The reshuffle affects over a dozen senior officers, including appointments in training, logistics, infrastructure, and strategic planning. __
