The Director Criminal Investigations Mohammed Amin now says the dci is not pursuing former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua over the alleged fueling and sponsoring of the June 25th violent protests. He however maintains that Gachagua is not above the law, and could be arrested should investigations link him to the unrest. As Emmanuel Too now reports, over 400 people are facing among other charges murder, and sexual assaults allegedly committed during the protests.
