The government has published a list of hundreds of health facilities which were closed due to non-compliance with the set standard of health care provision. The Ministry of Health on Monday revealed that Nairobi had 376 facilities shut, while Kisii had 120, with Wajir and Nyamira having 79 each. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has, in the meantime, confirmed that investigators are zeroing in on 31 facilities in 12 counties for allegedly defrauding the Social Health Authority.
