A family in Kagumo, Kirinyaga Central in Kirinyaga county is mourning the death of 28-year-old Brian Maina, who was killed during the Gen Z-led demonstrations on June 25 in Nairobi.
According to the family, a medical scan revealed that Brian was hit at the back of the head by a blunt object, sustaining severe injuries that led to internal bleeding. Despite being rushed to the hospital by his friends, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. The family is now appealing for support as they prepare to lay their son to rest on Friday this week
