Boniface Kariuki the mask vendor who was shot at close range in Nairobi streets during the 17th June protests will be laid to rest this Friday. Kariuki will be buried at his rural home in Kangema , Murang’a County. During his requiem mass held at the Holy Family Basilica, mourners eulogized Boniface as a law-abiding and hardworking Kenyan. They have called for justice for their son and an end to extra-judicial killings. This even as the post mortem of 9 year-old Bridgit Wainaina who shot while watching television at her home in Kiambu during Monday’s Saba Saba protests confirmed she died of a gunshot.
