Bishop Njagi says they asked for an upgrade of statehouse church

    Bishop Benard Njagi, a Chief Inspector based at the State House Nairobi says he was among the team that approached President William Ruto to set up modern churches at State House. According to Bishop Njagi, this would enable the over 300 families housed in the facility to have decent places of worship. The cleric says the proposal to the President, included the construction of a Catholic Sanctuary, an Interdenominational Protestant sanctuary and a Mosque, all currently existing but dilapidated.
