Over three thousand women were assembled at Taracha grounds in the ward, where they were issued with water tanks, cheques, milk goats, avocado seedlings, and shoes, either individually or in groups. Speaking during the event, the woman Rep Ms. Doris Aburi noted that at least 15 tanks with 10,000 liters capacity and worth sh. 100,000 each were given out to various groups, while 145 widows were issued with milk goats. Aburi also said that 3,000 avocado seedlings were given to farmers, besides several cheques with up to sh. 100,00,0, which were issued to various groups In the area.
