In Osun State, southwest Nigeria, a traditional king is challenging long standing traditions by running a free school for underprivileged students from across the country. While kings are typically seen as guardians of culture and tradition, taking on everyday roles, such as teaching in a classroom, is often considered beneath the dignity of the throne. King Adedokun Abolarin says he wants to redefine leadership by offering hope through education.
