Kuria west residents can breathe a sigh of relief after the county government started the construction of elevated water tanks. The project being undertaken in collaboration with the Lake Region Development authority is expected to take three months. Migori county Deputy Governor Dr. Joseph Mahiri said the project will drastically reduce the distance residents travel to fetch water and improve hygiene and sanitation across the area.
