Kisumu East Legislator Shakil Shabir has apologised to the teaching fraternity after a viral video of him reprimanding a teacher at a local school in his constituency sparked public outrage. In the video, the MP appears to be threatening to sack teachers in the school over what he says is poor performance by the learners. In his defence, Shabir says the contents of the video were taken out of context.
