A woman and her child died on the spot in a grisly road accident at the Korompoi area in Kitengela, along the Nairobi–Namanga highway.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman—who was carrying her child on her back—was hit by a speeding lorry heading toward Kitengela from the Isinya direction.
