Mbunge wa Kawe, Askofu Josephat Gwajima, asema haogopi kuzungumzia utekaji nchini Tanzania.Kauli hiyo imekuja baada ya kutoa hoja kuhusu madai ya utekaji wa wanachama wa CHADEMA – Ali Kibao aliyeuawa na Mdude Nyagali ambaye hajulikani alipo kwa zaidi ya miezi tatu. Polisi wamekana kuhusika na wanasema uchunguzi unaendelea.
Aidha mbunge huyo anayemaliza muda wake wa CCM ameshauri chama tawala CCM kutoa mageuzi ya msingi ili kuwashawishi wapinzani waingie uchaguzi. Hata hivyo, Rais Samia Suluhu ambaye ni mwenyekiti wa CCM hivi karibuni alisema Gwajima haendanı na hulka na tamaduni za CCM na kuwaasa wanachama wa CCM kutorudisha ‘Magwajima’.
CHADEMA imekuwa ikipinga kufanyika kwa uchaguzi mkuu ujao, ikipendekeza mabadiliko ya kimsingi yafanywe kwanza kabla ya kufanyika kwa uchaguzi ‘huru na wa haki’.CCM kinasisitiza kuwa kampeni ya No Reforms No Election ni ya kujifurahisha, na wala haitabadilisha chochote kuhusu Uchaguzi mkuu ujao.
