The number of learners enrolled in Early Childhood Education in Kakamega has risen from 78,000 in 2022 to 124,000 in 2025.
Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa said that the county government is investing heavily to improve infrastructure to accommodate the increasing number of learners.
