Interior cs Kipchumba Murkomen has criticised LSK president Faith Odhiambo and the lawyers umbrella body for defending suspects charged in relation to anti-government protests. Murkomen says actions committed during protests meet the threshold of terror charges, adding that the suspects should not be assisted by any civilised person. The interior Cs is inviting the judiciary to partner with the police for what he calls forestalling a crisis. Murkomen says the country has been in crisis before because of people in authority showing lenience to those he called lawbreakers
