President William Ruto has assured Kenyans that Free primary and secondary education in public schools will not be compromised. Speaking at a Sunday service at ACK St Martin’s Light Industries Church Kariobangi Nairobi, the president said free primary and secondary education was guaranteed in the constitution and the government will continue investing in the sector. The head of state, at the same time, disclosed that teachers will soon get a salary hike of upto 29%.
